COATING
UV Gloss Coating is the standard coating for all full color business cards printed on 14 pt. C2S paper. Soft Touch Coating is our new matte coating option.
Two Coating Options
Besides providing protection from smearing and scratching, the professional looking UV Gloss Coating makes colors pop while adding depth and interest to your printed piece. With its velvet matte finish, Soft Touch Coating has a unique feel and you can write on it. Both coatings are available for projects like postcards and flyers. Feel free to request samples today.
Coating on Supplied Paper Stock
Additionally, Utley provides UV Coating on customer supplied stock. UV Coating services are available for offset and digital printing. All UV Coating jobs require dry time. UV Coating services are limited to cover weight stock and exclude lighter text weight stock. Please contact a customer service representative for more information.
MASTERCARD RUNS
This two-step program reduces cost and speeds turnaround for your corporate customers who require special ink colors, precision registration or more than two colors. A master is a printed sheet, usually 12-up, of the common printed element, typically the company logo that appears in the same place on all the cards. These shells are imprinted and slit to size as individual orders are placed. Often the imprint color is black which further reduces cost and speeds turnaround.
ROUNDED CORNERING
If your customer's business card calls for something special; consider adding rounded cornering. Taking a little off the edges makes for a unique look. Simply specify rounded cornering on the product details section of your next order.
Additionally, Utley can round the corners on your supplied project. Our Hydraulic Cornering machine can do 1, 2, 3 or all 4 corners on your next project.
LETTERPRESS PRINTING
Letterpress impresses a little humanity on to a quality letterpress sheet of paper for an incredibly unique and artistic flare. With one or two colors, letterpressed items leave a lasting impression. Read more here
FOIL STAMPING AND EMBOSSING
Foil stamping and embossing can both add an impressive look to any of your printed products. Utley can foil stamp or blind emboss most of our standard stocks and many supplied stocks. Whether the entire business card is foil stamped including graphics, names, addresses, etc., or whether just a logo is foil stamped and the balance of the card is thermographed, Utley Brothers has the expertise to complete the job. Unlike standard printed orders, foiled or embossed orders require us to send out for the appropriate die to complete the job which ends up adding some additional time to the turnaround.

CUSTOM THERMOGRAPHY
We have partnered with customers to produce some unique projects. Customers have supplied pre-printed projects which we have then added a thermographic (raised) element by running the sheets down one of our seven production lines. Projects have ranged from greeting cards to book covers and everywhere in between.
